Old Trident & Treonte Trophies
We were able to adapt many of the trophies from the old clubs but there are a lot of trophies that were not able to be reused. We would therefore like to give the last swimmer to win each trophy the opportunity to keep it. A list of swimmers that this applies to has been put up on the notice boards at Trent College and West Park. Please contact Helen Elcock by the 28th February to arrange collection if you would like to have your trophies (contact details on noticeboards). All trophies not collected by that date will be disposed of.

Blog 331: Swimming Success in Derby and Dronfield
Long Eaton swimmers enjoyed success last weekend in the City of Derby Open Meet and Dronfield Diddy Trophy Galas.
Despite being mid-cycle and in heavy training, and the meet being level 1 (meaning some of the country's top swimmers were in attendence), the swimmers from Long Eaton swam well, achieved PBs, and often coming out as top Derbyshire swimmer in their age group also beating swimmers from much larger City and County Squads from around the country.
Meanwhile, the club's Development Squad swimmers showed their potential with a strong display against some tough opposition (including performance squad City of Sheffield). There were many PBs across all age groups, with the club's 9 and 10 years olds in particularly dominant form winning several races.
Well Done to everyone who took part in both competitions.

Blog 327: Spin bikes
Due to repairs required on bikes elsewhere in the leisure centre, there will be spin bike sessions in the cafe area on Tuesday and Wednesdays (between 7.30pm - 8.30pm) for, hopefully, only the next two weeks.
The pool staff will try and get the seats out on the poolside for our use but this will depend on available staff at the time
Please note, the Leisure Centre can shut the cafe area at anytime as this is not included in our hire agreement.
John Hidle (Secretary)
