Blog 432: Development Squads Shine at the Braunstone Sprints Meet

Out of over 140 girl swimmers, Elle Pryce finished overall 3rd and Aimee Baxter overall 2nd, with both winning 4 of their 5 events. Will Barker and Josh Langfield both picked up 3rd place awards. Apart from Aimee, the rest of the Long Eaton swimmers were from Development squads 2 and 3 and were led by Greg Cherry, Bob Cherry and Malcolm Stray. There was a mass of personal bests and heat winners from all the Long Eaton swimmers and it was a pleasure to watch their continued improvement.

There was an international basketball tournament on at the same venue and the Development
squad swimmers were absolutely delighted to get the autographs of the 7 foot tall players from the English national squad – on their arms!

Blog 431: Leicester Penguins Open Meet

October 3rd & 4th at Braunstone Leisure Centre

This is a level 2 Meet, first come.... and closing date August 16th.

We would like to take a large squad to this Open Meet so all Swimmers in Development 2 & 3, Elite Potential, Elite Sprint, Junior and Senior Squads should be looking at the qualifying times and entering accordlingly. Please be advised by your Coaches.
