Blog 1995: Help wanted at Northampton

I am organising the officials for the meet and would be grateful for any help that could be given by officials from your club who are travelling with their swimmers.

For those who are training either for Judge level 1 or for a higher qualification mentoring can be offered.

Breakfast rolls are available for those working on the morning sessions and a buffet lunch is offered to all officials.

Blog 1993:Your Club Needs You

Your help is needed for our Club Champs Saturday 19^th July and Sunday 20^th July

We are looking for:

2-4 TEAM MANAGERS…… Helping to assist swimmers to prepare for their races

6 TIMEKEEPERS + 1 CHIEF TIMEKEEPER ……  To take the official times for the races. Training will be given.

12 OFFICIALS…….. 10 judges, 1 starter, 1 referee

2 REFRESHMENTS ……. Hand out drinks to the helpers on poolside

1 RESULTS RUNNER ……. You will take the results from the timekeeper and take to the results room.

1 RESULTS ASSISTANT……. To help input the times onto the sports system computer.

6 HEALTH AND SAFETY ….. To stand on poolside to ensure that all aspects of health and safety

2 FRONT OF HOUSE …… To sell programmes and raffle tickets

1 ANNOUNCER ……  To announce results of races

 

All our galas are run by the help of volunteers!!!  If we don’t get YOUR help then our  galas unfortunately will not be able to go ahead.
