Blog 1148: DX Open

This weekend we had the DX open alongside the Leicester League (see previous blog). Many Long Eaton swimmers were there representing both Derventio Excel and Long Eaton and in a high class field these swimmers stood out and performed exceptionally well, with many gaining more regional times and national times, including Hannah Cox who trains at Long Eaton, who got her Senior National time in the 50m Breaststroke. Once again the skill level of Long Eaton swimmers was extremely high especially in the underwater phase and final 5 meters of races.
