Blog 1786: Helen Wins at Derbyshire Sporting Awards
Club Treasurer, Masters swimmer and International Official, Helen Akers, having won the Erewash Sports Award for Services to Sport, went on, last night, to win the award across the whole of the County. The Awards were presented at the Round House in Derby at the Derbyshire Sport ceremony. Helen is shown with World Record Hurdler, and Movember supporter, Colin Jackson.
