Blog 3282: diddy league round two review

Long Eaton's diddy team went to Hucknall to compete in the second round of the diddy league competition. After securing a good position in the first round, finishing in the top three would mean a potential place in the final. The first spot likely already taken, there were several teams which could contend for the other higher place finishes. Unfortunately, at moments like this mistakes can be costly, and long eaton suffered seven disqualifications during the night, from false starts to takeovers and in the end this cost us dearly. This round was always going to be a hard fought battle, and it was disappointing to finish fifth. But these things happen in any sport, and you have to keep working to make the improvements you can to ensure the next round has a much more satisfactory result.
