What a brilliant night it was for the A team last night. In a hard fought and even draw to come joint 3rd with 6 first team members out and having the only dq of the night, is a tribute to how well everyone did. The team spirit was great and no one could fault our effort and determination. Our underwater skills were on point and everyone battled for that extra place resulting in a lot of unofficial pb's.
I am always looking to measure improvement in the club and last night going against City of Derby gave me a great opportunity to do so. In one of my first galas in charge we came up against City of Derby and on that night were nearly 10 minutes behind them in over all time for the 50 events. Last night we were 4 minutes 17 seconds behind. We also had our lowest number of 6th place finishes ever.
Keep up the great work, focus on your skills and technique, improve attendance where possible. Fill in your house cup sheets.
