Chloe is in America working at a Summer Camp and took the opportunity to compete in an Open Water Event.
The 1.5 mile swim started just outside the security zone of Liberty Island and went past the historic Ellis Island and the Colgate clock on the Jersey City shoreline, then into the Morris Canal to finish at Liberty Landing Marina in Liberty State Park with a view of the new Freedom Tower in the background. Chloe came 3rd overall, and 1st in her age group with a time 33.39.
