Blog 3481: IM Skills Race

Congratulations to those swimmers who followed the programme and turned up this morning. It was a very productive morning where we able to hone skills for tonight and trial the first ever skills race. The skills race is not wholly about time but more about hitting skills at pace. Swimmers had to complete a 200IM within 10% of their personal best time on the rankings for the score to count. They were then scored on Dive, Turn Speed, Distance off walls, Type of Back to Breast turn and how far they took their last breath from the finish. The faster the turn time, the further under or from the wall for the breath and the harder the skill of the turn for back to breast ment the higher the points score. Below is a link to the results. Brilliant job guys, use this to swim fast this weekend.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-hjEAi8qc7YXY7m2a1bJbwxhA-pRJN7a/view?usp=sharing
