LESC
is excited to launch its first Mini Camp on 1st and 2nd
September at Nottingham University, David Ross Sports Village.
Driven by nurturing
and maximising swimming excellence, this
will be a fantastic two days offering:

Intensive swimming
coaching and tuition
·
Strength and
conditioning, gym and land training
·
Nutrition workshops
– daily basics and competition advice
·
Sports psychology
workshops to set key goals
·
Guest speaker
Who can attend?
The
Mini Camp is open to the following Squads: JD2, County, Midland and National.
Timings
Saturday
1st September, 9.00am-4.00pm plus an evening social activity
(further details to follow).
Sunday
2nd September, 9.00am-3.30pm.
Cost
The
Mini Camp is £30.00.
NB: It is possible
that we may be able to reduce this cost through fundraising activities which we
are looking to organise. The more support we get for fundraising activities we
can keep costs to manageable levels enabling as many children as possible the
chance to go.
Securing a place
Places
are limited to a maximum of 70 and will be offered on a first come, first serve
basis.
To secure a place, please fill in the sheet on the board at West Park. You will need to pay a deposit of £10 (per child) into the box before Friday 20th July. Cheques to be made payable to LESC. Please ensure your deposit is in an envelope with your name and your child/children’s name on it. If we are unable to associate your £10 deposit with your name and your child/children’s name/s we cannot guarantee a place. The balance payment will be taken nearer the time.
Once
places have been secured, a briefing pack and itinerary will be made available
to all those attending.
Other information
In
the run up to the Mini Camp, we are also hoping to organise a volunteering
opportunity, by giving something back to our local community and making a
difference.
