We are once again looking to go on a swim camp. These provide an incredible experience for swimmers and a chance not only to develop their swimming skills but also to develop as a person with life skill development one of the key factors of these camps.
Having looked at the dates for half terms next year the best time to go will be October half term 2019, this for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire runs from 21st October.
We are looking at going to The Gloria Sports Arena in Turkey. This is a custom built facility just off the beach which offers all inclusive packages and is home to the Energy Standard club that boasts the likes of Chad Le Clos, Georgia Davis and Ben Proud training with them. The temperature is a chilly 20 degrees today which is low for this time for of year. Please see the link below to look at the facility.

For this to happen we would need between 16 and 24 swimmers with two team manager 2 chaperones along with a coach. The estimated cost would be around £1000 for the week, which would include flights, transfers in Turkey, accommodation, training and the all inclusive package for food and drinks offered by the hotel at the arena, however this could change given numbers and prices at booking.
The camp is open to all swimming members of the club at the age of 12 or above as at the 31st December 2019 who can train twice a day. There will be down time for swimmers to either do home work or relax.
We need to get this sorted ASAP so can anyone who is interested please contact Spencer prior to October 31st 2018. This will give us as much time as possible to get numbers and prices firmed up.
