Blog 2019-257: Information for Stafford Apex Meet

Full information on the Stafford Apex Meet is available on their website here.  Please check the accepted entries list and notify me of any errors or omissions asap.

Please also note the following email received today from the organisers:

"We are pleased to announce that DE Photo has been appointed as the Official Photographers for our event.  This event, by its very nature, is in the public arena and may result in the recording and publication of your members' images. If your members do not wish their photo to be taken they should please let one of the DE Photo team know. All DE Photo staff have been DBS checked and the company operates very strict privacy and data protection policies and are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Full copies of DE Photo’s GDPR documentation can be found at dephoto.biz/GDPR
There will also be an engraver at the meet on Saturday 16th only.  The cost of engraving will be £2.50 per medal/trophy plate.

Please be advised that the Entrust car park is NOT available for use during this meet.  The nearside car park to the leisure centre is Waterfront Multi Storey car park. Please find below a link to Stafford car parks.  For your information, I have also attached a car park map below.

Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no swimshop and no catering at the meet (although you will be able to purchase food at Asda next door).  Hot drinks will be available for purchase from Costa Coffee within the leisure centre.

The programme will be available to print from our website a week before the gala.  We will also have a limited number of copies available to buy on the day.

The detailed warm up schedule will also be posted on the website the week before the meet. At the moment, warm up for sessions 1 & 3 are scheduled for 8.25am for a 9.30am start, and for sessions 2 & 4 scheduled for 1.30pm for a 2.30pm start.  The gala is scheduled to finish by 5.30pm both days."
