Blog 1816: A Team round 3

Well to say this seasons Arena league has been eventful would be an understatement. Beating Liecester Penguins for the first time ever, missing out on the final because of 2 dq's and 2 trips to the wonderful facilities at Worcester. With 3 national finalists missing from our team meaning a massive rejuggle the A team swimmers had to cope with a gala being held without starting blocks (so much for the detailed start practice put in the run up to this gala). With another tough draw LESC swimmers stepped up to the mark once again, finishing 2nd City of Hereford on the night  by only 11 points. This means we will finish either 9th or 10th this season our 2nd highest ever league finish. A massive thank you to all the volunteers who helped out over the 3 rounds and a well done to all those swimmers who wore their club colours with pride.
